The Miss Universe 2021 contest was held this Sunday (16) in Hollywood, in the United States and who was the great champion for miss universe was Miss Mexico, Andrea Meza.
The final took place at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida.
The contest was presented by Mario Lopez of “Access Hollywood” and the actress and model Olivia Culpo, Miss Universo 2012. It also counted on the participation of the Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi, interpreter of the international success “Despacito”, who sang “Vacío” on a stage where the five finalists were.
This year, the first list included 20 candidates chosen by the competition committee and one winner of the online voting open to the public.

At the end of the competition, which brought together 75 candidates from around the world, Andrea Meza, 26, received the crown from the hands of South African model Zozibini Tunzi, who was the champion of the universe in 2019.

Tunzi, became the first black woman in South Africa to win the contest.
She has held the title since December 2019 as last year’s ceremony was canceled due to the pandemic.
Meza, Miss Universe 2021, studied systems engineering and works as a women’s rights activist.
In addition to promoting tourism in her home state, Chihuahua, she has also become known for raising funds for poor people in India, Indonesia and China.
In addition, she is a certified makeup artist, model and vegan.
