Changes from July 19th
- Boris announced the end of limits on participation in weddings and funerals.
- All legal limits for internal and external meetings will be removed.
- Bar and restaurant table service rules and onsite check-in requirements will be dropped.
- The limits on named visitors in homes will be lifted.
- Nightclubs will reopen for the first time since the start of the pandemic, while bar drinks will return to boost the hospitality industry.
- Social distancing requirements, including the 1 million+ rule, prevented many sites from operating at full capacity during the pandemic.
